Sometimes, transforming a given space simply involves choosing the right color for its walls. The client here decided to use the soft, warm brown known as Latte Cream onto the walls of her kitchen.

The color is a perfect choice for her because it hides stains on the walls and matches the rattan objects in her kitchen. Even the name of the color is perfectly suited for a kitchen.

Painting tips

It is often best to choose paint colors that are similar to or match the colors of existing furniture or decorative objects in the given space. This will make the result comfortable and harmonious.

Choose your paints

Painting process

Use a paint brush for narrow and uneven surfaces, like trim, and a paint roller for larger surfaces on walls. If it rains outside, you might want to turn on fans and dehumidifiers to quicken the drying process.

It feels great to remove masking tape after the painting is done. Remove the tape carefully so that it doesn’t tear the newly painted wallpaper.
